  1. Hi Ann! I want to try and make a mango and a pineapple, how would I be able to do that?

    • Hi Talia, these recipes each contain 1 or 1 and a half tablespoons of your chosen flavour. If you want to use a strong flavour like lemon or lime, you can use it as is. If it is milder then you ned to start with a larger quantity of fruit or juice and reduce it down to intensify the flavour. You could do this with pineapple ad or mango juice. Don’t add more than a tablespoon and a half to your meringue or the recipe wont work.

  2. Can you use any other fruit for the raspberry recipe

    • Yes, You could try any berry or fruit. Use a similar quantity of fresh or frozen fruit as a starting point. Only add a tablespoon and a half of your reduced liquid to the meringue mix.

  3. yes

  4. I really enjoy your videos and I want something that is like I have a piece of How To Cook That At at home. You are very talented so you are like my inspirer. Thank you:-)

  5. Can I use fresh strawberry ?

    • Hi Isabella, yes you can, just follow the directions for raspberries.

  6. I made the lime ones and coffee flavored ones by using the same method for the lime and they were AMAZING!!! I made them for my mom’s book club and everyone loved them! Thank you so much!

    • I actually added some espresso powder as well

    • yummm I’ll have to try coffee next

  7. Hey Ann ! I’d like to know if the constest is international, I mean, if we are in an other country, can we participate ?
And these seem sooo good, I want to try them !
    Thank you xoxo

    • Hi A.H. if you can get yourself to LA or Sydney at your won expense then you could enter, there is al ink to full terms and conditions above. You have to be able to pick up the prize in person, it will not be delivered.

  8. I love you Ann

    • you’re so lovely Dani

  9. Can I use regular white sugar instead of caster sugar?

    • I had that question on the Pavlova Recipe. Caster Sugar is just white sugar ground a bit more finely. I put mine through a nutribullet for a few minutes and it worked fine.

    • Hi Hajo, you can but it might not be as smooth, caster sugar is finer – it may be called superfine sugar where you live.

    • I only have white sugar, but I made these. I put the white sugar in a food processor for a few seconds to make it finer. It worked, and the meringue mixture turned out looking amazing.

  10. Can you do a Taeyang cake or cupcakes he is like my favorite Korean singer so if you do this just give me a shout out thank you

    • Hi Tani, Thanks for the suggestion.

  11. Hello Ann ! Wonderful recipe which I’ll try in a bit. Can I use liquid food colour instead of gel or it will change the consistency of the marique ? Thankf for all the sharing x

    • Yes you can but don’t put too much

    • Hi Joanne, if you use a small amount it should be fine, if you want strong colours use the gel 😀

  12. Hi if I want to make a coffee flavoured one, any suggestions? Thank you 🙂

    • Make coffee and reduce it to one tablespoon, then add to regular mixture.

    • Hi Eileen, either 1 tablespoon of strong expresso or 1-2 tsp instant coffee dissolved in 1 tablespoon of hot water.

  13. Hi Ann,
I just made these meringues in chocolate, mango and strawberry! They look amazing, thanks for the recipe.
    Mia x

    • Hi Mia,
How much mango did you use?

    • Yumm, they sound great

  14. If i were to make these, could i replace the lime for a lemon?

    • I assume you can I’m going to try right now but you probably can as sometimes I replace lemon for lime in lots of recipes

      • Hi I tried making lemon ones and they tasted amazing!

        • Yum! I can imagine they would taste great!

    • when I tried to make these it didn’t work because when I added the powder sugar It went flat it look like cookie icing help what did I do wrong

      • It was either over whipped or under whipped, if it was fluffy still but holding peeks it was under, otherwise it was over

      • Hi Micahela, had you already added the normal sugar and it was fine? If so I suspect your powdered sugar must have another ingredient in it like an emulsifier – check the packet ingredients. If it has nothing else in it then just whip for longer until it becomes stiff.

    • Hi Shelby yes you can 😀

  15. I used frozen strawberries instead of raspberries and they were delicious.

  16. Hi Ann,
Please could you please do some thing Austin and ally themed and do another giveaway which could be international

In your video you said to take a friend but I would take my mum because she’s helped me and believed in me whenever I’ve tried something new and fun and she is my number one supporter. I would love this opportunity but I understand that there are others, at least I have a chance. Thank you

    • You don’t have to live in Sydney or LA you just need to be able to get to Sydney or LA
