  1. Hi Ann,
What was the exact type of chocolate that you used?

    • Hi jessie please see the latest post on chocolate… https://www.howtocookthat.net/public_html/temper-chocolate/

      • Hi Ann thanks for the reply,
I was hoping you could tell me the exact ‘brand’ that you used for the giant Kit Kat, i.e – Cadbury milk block ect… I couldn’t seem to find an exact answer for this on your chocolate page
        Thanks! 🙂

        • Hi Jessie, I can’t give you an exact brand. Different countries have different brands, so just choose one that is accessible to you.

  2. This is so AWESOME!!! I am hoping that you have a tutorial on how to make REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS/MINIS.
Pretty please, they are my favorite!!!! 😀 Thank you very much Anne.

  4. I am planning to make this for my stepson’s birthday. What is the red paper did you use for the wrapper? Thanks!

    • Hi Zeh, It was just a roll of red wrapping paper I bought at the shops.

  5. Can you give me the dimensions of the wafers? I can only find round wafers, so I am going to have to cut them and piece them together to fit your template.

  6. Hi anne. Can you make giant violet crumb? Plzz

  7. I really want to try this but where can you find 13 pounds of chocolate without giving an arm and a leg for it? On Hershey ‘s website they have a 5 lb bar for $60 but you would need 3 of them to make this. Where did you get your chocolate from?

    • I don’t know where you live, but in the uk, tescos sells 100g bars of chocolate for 30p each, so 6kg would only cost 18 pounds.

  8. uh so how do you like cook it ??

  9. where is the kitkat thing you cut

    I’m from Indonesia
if I can buy in the online shop that you show ?

    • Hi Marsha, I now use an external company to process the shop payments and unfortunately they do not support payments from Indonesia I’m sorry.

  12. Hello Ann, I have been trying to open the template area of your kitkat and its not working, just keeps on saying its loading.
hoping you read this soon 🙂 I am going to attempt this early next week.

    Roz.

    • Hi Roz, I just clicked on it and it took about 4 seconds to load the template. Try refreshing your page and give it another go 😀

      • Hi Ann, I eventually got it opened, I think it was my computer on a go slow. My nephews party was cancelled till this weekend… so today I made the frames for the fingers, and the surrounds.. i just now printed out the kitkat logo’s, and the red logo is way too small. what size did you enlarge it too.? can you remember…?
i don’t have much ink.. haha and don’t want to go wasting what i do have trying to get the right size that’s all.
        thanks very much.

  13. I was wondering where would be a good place to buy all that chocolate and this may sound silly but how do you temper chocolate… I’m kinda a new-bee baker 🙂

  14. For those who are looking for the wafers and live in America can find it at sears they actually have the EXACT same ones that Ann shows in the video

    • thanks alice

  15. Hi Ann – I live in NZ and would have to pay $116 for shipping for these wafer sheets here from the link you put up. Did you get these another way or this way through a different supplier?

    • Hi Bjanka I got them from the local italian fruit store, I think they sell them for communion wafers. You’d need to search for the same thing locally to you.

  16. Your awesome

  17. Hi Ann
I am a bit confuse and also shocked that making kit kat is very easy ….
But i have a question does the bar taste same ???
If any one try this recipe please tell me….
Btw Ann you are amazing… 😀

    • Hey ann I’m .trying to make a kit kat it does not look like yours? I don’t know why

    • Yes it dose tast like Kit Kat

    • Hi Nimra, yes it tastes like a kitkat 😀

  18. Do you have to temper chocolate only for chocolate decorations or also if you are dipping, coating something with it? Or just for decorations?

    • Tempering chocolate gives it that lovely, glossy, professional look, so you only need to use it where it’s going to be visible. It makes no difference to the flavour or texture, so it’s up to you whether you want to go to the extra trouble.

    • Hi Diva if you are using real chocolate that contains cocoa butter and you want it to set firm again then yes you must temper it.

  19. Simply amazing!!! What a fun gift to make for someone special.

  20. Oh MY GOODNESS! Ann how did you temper all that chocolate at once! you never cease to amaze me

    • Hi Loraine, I have a food processor now so for large amounts I grate it using that.

      • This is so AWESOME!!! I am hoping that you have a tutorial on how to make REESE’S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS/MINIS.
Pretty please, they are my favorite!!!! 😀 Thank you very much Loraine.

        • BTW, I dont know why i can’t comment, so i just coursed my comment through here. Thank you Ann.
