Top 10 Best Nutella Recipes

10 best nutella recipes

Most of these easy Nutella recipes have only two or three ingredients. With ‘World Nutella Day’ coming up soon I thought I’d have some fun baking, whipping and experimenting with Nutella and its many uses. I don’t advise that you make all ten in one day or you’ll find it hard not to over-indulge. I confess, I may have eaten a few too many of these Nutella treats, they were just too hard to resist.

2 Ingredient Nutella Brownies

4 eggs
1 cup or 290g (10.23 ounces) of nutella

Pour into an 8″ x 8″ brownie tin and bake for 10 – 15 minutes at 180C (356 degrees Fahrenheit).

Nutella Star Recipe – two ways

Bread Dough
1/4 cup or 62ml water warmed to 98F (36.67 degrees Celsius)
1/4 cup or 62ml milk (4% fat) warmed to 98F (36.67 degrees Celsius)
2 eggs
1/3 cup or 73g (2.57 ounces) sugar
1/2 cup or 110g (3.88 ounces) butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 3/4 cups or 450g (15.87 ounces) flour
3 tsp yeast
Place all of the ingredients in a bread maker on a ‘dough’ setting.
Or if making by hand mix the ingredients together and kneed until elastic.
Leave in a covered bowl in a warm place until it doubles in volume.

To assemble you will need approximately 3 tablespoons or 50g (1.76 ounces) of Nutella.
Bake at around 180C (356 degrees Fahrenheit). When it is cooked through, the bread will sound hollow when tapped on the base.

Alternatively you can swap the bread dough for puff pastry.
If using puff pastry, bake in a slightly hotter oven at around 210c.

    hello ann

I tried making the lava cake
but the chocolate did not ooze out
even without the chocolate oozing out it was delicious
is there anything I could have done wrong?

    • Same problem here. I doubled the recipe and I could fill 7 dishes with it. Nevertheless, I gave them 15 minutes in the oven. I figured that’s where my problem originates. Since I could fill 7 dishes, they were smaller and thus needed less time in the oven. But it tasted really good indeed!

How many grams is 3 tsp of yeast? Different websites are giving me different answers. Is there a certain type of yeast I have to use, and do I have to bloom the yeast?

For the Nutella Star bread there seems to be an error in the conversion.
    2-3/4 cups flour is listed as 450g. Isn’t that 3-3/4 cups? Or alternatively 2-3/4 ~= 330 grams?
I followed the weight and not the volume.

    • G’day James, 1 cup of flour weighs 160g. So 2.75 cups x 160 = 440g (note I am using UK cups – a cup is 250mL. Are you using US cups = 200mL). If you’re following the weights listed you will accurate.

  9. Ann I recently discovered the Nutella Go packs and I was wondering if you can do a recipe on making the breadsticks that come in the Nutella Go package. There never seems to be enough of those in the pack for me. Maybe you can make it part of your super sized series or your minture series.

    love your posts thank you

    • Hi Manudith, there a couple of possible causes. You may need to freeze them longer. You may need not have cooked the mix long enough for it to thicken properly or you may need to use a little more cornflour to stabilise your mix.

  11. How long do the Nutella cookies need to bake
