Worlds Biggest Hershey’s Kiss Recipe

giant hershey's kiss

Meeting people who dedicate their lives to helping others is always inspiring. Being able to give a little something back (this time in the form of a giant Hershey’s Kiss) is something that I absolutely love.

Giant Hershey’s Kiss Recipe

4kg (8.82 pounds) quality white chocolate
600g (21.16 ounces) oreos
large funnel (this is the one i used)
kisses pdf print and cut into strips
hershey's kiss recipe

Melt and temper your white chocolate. If you don’t temper it it won’t set firm at room temperature.

Block one end of the funnel then put the whole thing into a container to hold it upright.

Ladle some of your tempered chocolate into the funnel and along the sides. Make sure you are using real chocolate that contains cocoa butter, compound chocolate doesn’t taste as good and if you’re giving someone a giant gift you want it to taste amazing not just look good.

Add in your oreos. Pressing some onto the sides so that you can see them on the outside of the kiss. Keep piling in more chocolate and oreos until the funnel is full.

Leave to set overnight at room temperature. Then place in the fridge for 30 minutes before tipping out to help loosen the mold.

Follow the directions in the video for carving the chocolate to just the right shape. Then wrap in foil with the kisses printout down the middle.

Make it a great week.

Hello, just wondering are Hershey’s white chocolate chips compound or real chocolate? I want to melt them and put them in a mold to make chocolate spheres for a cake. Would I have to temper it?

My daughter’s bat mitzvah is coming up in September and I’d absolutely LOVE to have one of these. I am not sure I will have the time to make it myself. Her party is chocolate themed, and this would add the most amazing component to it. Is there any way you would make one for us? …. begging…..

    • Sorry Audrey, Ann isn’t able to make items to order.

hey there ANN, you said you have to temper chocolate and i searched on YOUTUBE how to temper and she said that there are so many ways to temper and the easiest one is seeding and the hardest one is tabling. what’s the difference between seeding and tabling?

    • Hi Soniya, Ann has a tutorial that runs through some of this: https://www.howtocookthat.net/public_html/temper-chocolate/ . Seeding chocolate is tempering by adding chocolate solids to melted chocolate. Tabling chocolate involves heating chocolate to a specific temperature, cooling it to another temperature and then reheating it to a third temperature. Using this method you spread the chocolate out on a table or flat surface to cool it quickly so it is called tabling.

    • That’s a genuinely imrspesive answer.

Hello there Ann, I was just wondering will your ever make sour skittles or just the original skittles because, my daughter Ayanna loves anything sour also she is a big fan of yours and she also said that she wants to be a baker when she grows up so if you can try to make something happen that will be amazing!!!

    • Hi Geralyn,
      Thanks for the feedback.

  7. Hey there Ann! I was wondering if you know or have figured out how to do different flavors of this same thing. Like the caramel filled kisses or something? I’m asking because I was thinking about giving my teachers each one of these near the end of this school year, but some may not like this flavor. Think there’s any way you could help?

    • Hi Serena, Ann hasn’t tested other flavours as yet but you could experiment.

What exact type of chocolate did you use in this dessert also what chocolate did you use in the giant kit kat video 🙂

    • Hi Summerstorm. Ann used real chocolate (either white, milk r dark as indicated in the recipe) but she doesn’t recommend a particular brand.

    Hi Ann
In your gummy worms vid how could you substitute the sorbitol? I don’t want to buy it online because it would cost too much for shipping and it takes a long time for it to be shipped from where I am. If you have any ideas please reply to me
    Thanks!!!! <3

    • Hi Julia, There isn’t really a suitable alternative for sorbitol in this recipe.

Woah, Ann, this is incredible! I love Hershey’s Kisses, and this is really creative, imaginative and should be absolutely delicious! I have just one question (not about the recipe, but in general) – Do you have any bakes/cakes that include plums? We have a plum tree in our garden, and when I went outside to pick some today I managed to fill fourteen saucepans… A lot. Even a very very simple recipe would be so much help! Thank you so much, I can’t wait to see your next crazy sweet creation!

    • Hi Ann, the guy from the dance troupe was truly inspirational. I’m going to remember to ‘choose to make it a good day’. Thank you for thanking him!
Also, wanted to second Tara on requesting plumb recipes. We have loads and need some ideas on how to use them please. Thank you xx

I made my grandson a Thomas the Train cake for his 2nd birthday. Now he wants one for his 3rd birthday. I don’t know where I put the pattern. Could I buy it from you again? His party is Oct. 24.
    Thank you so much!
