To be honest, the game has absolutely no point &#8211; you can&#8217;t actually win or progress and yet it is mind-numbingly addictive.<\/p>\n<p>So in honor of the hours &#8216;wasted&#8217; playing the game, I decided to make a cake. Based on the number of requests I have had for a <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/kqQ5F7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">slither.io<\/a> cake I assume many of you have been playing it too.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k0pedt1ydOU?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"fn\">To make a slither.io cake you will need:<\/h4>\n<p>One and half times my <a title=\"Perfect Sponge Cake Recipe:  Light Fluffy Moist and Tall\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/sponge-cake-recipe\/\">light and fluffy sponge cake recipe<\/a> baked in two trays 38.1cm (15 inches) x 25.4cm (10 inches)<br \/>\nA double quantity of basic buttercream mixed with ganache (see below).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-25655\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/slitherio-game-candy-slither-record-ann-reardon-550x413.jpg\" alt=\"slitherio game cake ann reardon\" width=\"550\" height=\"413\" data-wp-pid=\"25655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/slitherio-game-candy-slither-record-ann-reardon-550x413.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/slitherio-game-candy-slither-record-ann-reardon-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/slitherio-game-candy-slither-record-ann-reardon-60x45.jpg 60w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/slitherio-game-candy-slither-record-ann-reardon-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>White Chocolate Ganache Recipe<\/strong><br \/>\n<span class=\"ingredient\"><span class=\"amount\">300g (10.58 ounces)<\/span> <span class=\"name\">white chocolate <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n100millilitres (3.38 fluid ounces) or 1\/3 cup plus 2 tsp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/cream-use\/\" title=\"What cream should I use?\" target=\"_blank\">cream<\/a> (35% fat)<br \/>\nHeat the cream until it just starts to boil and pour over the chocolate. Leave for a minute then stir until smooth. Note if you are using compound chocolate you may need to microwave for 20 seconds to melt all the chocolate. You will die. When you die\u00a0you leave no mass so there is no point heading to the edge to get mass &#8211; I tried that already.<br \/>\n* If you&#8217;re under 500: eat dots and try and boost in front of other snakes. The darting tactic often gets me out so I only do it while I&#8217;m small.<br \/>\n* 500-3000: head to the middle and hang around bigger snakes. Eat their left overs. Bother the big snakes, get in their way and they might make a mistake &#8211; it is hard for them to turn in a small space.<br \/>\n* If you get circled don&#8217;t do little loops in the middle, go as close to the outside as you can. This tactic slows down them circling smaller, which gives more of a chance for them to make a mistake and get out.<br \/>\n* 3000+: Start circling smaller snakes. While you are circling watch out for other people trying to circle you. Regularly go out and make your loop bigger or irregular to make this harder or boost away if you have to.<br \/>\n* Never boost into a feeding frenzy. Be calm or you&#8217;ll &#8216;pop&#8217;. If you&#8217;re big enough then loop the feeders. If not, go slowly through picking up what you can.<br \/>\n* 20,000+: Now YOU are the big snake, everyone will be trying to get you out.
