


{"id":4357,"date":"2014-02-07T18:33:20","date_gmt":"2014-02-07T08:33:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/?p=4357"},"modified":"2016-01-28T12:38:09","modified_gmt":"2016-01-28T02:38:09","slug":"heart-cupcake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/heart-cupcake\/","title":{"rendered":"Heart Cupcake"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"hrecipe\" align=\"center\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/heart-cupcake-heart-inside-valentines-day-copy-550x335.jpg\" alt=\"3D heart in cupcake howtocookthat ann reardon\" width=\"550\" height=\"335\" \/><br \/>\nValentines Day is just around the corner so how about giving these &#8216;surprise&#8217; heart cupcakes a try. \u00a0Unlike most love-heart cupcakes, where you have to cut at a specific point to see the design inside, these little beauties will show your heart no matter which side you bite.\u00a0\u00a0So whether you&#8217;re making them for a good friend, or someone you hope will become a good friend, you&#8217;re guaranteed to get a big smile.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"fn\">Heart Cupcake Recipe<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"ingredient\"><span class=\"amount\">2 cups or 320g (11.29 ounces)<\/span> <span class=\"name\">plain all-purpose flour<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups or 330g (11.64 ounces) sugar<br \/>\n1 Tbsp baking powder<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tsp 7.5g (0.26 ounces) gelatine powder<br \/>\n1\/2 cup or 92g (3.25 ounces) vegetable oil, such as canola oil<br \/>\n7 egg yolks<br \/>\n1 cup or 250millilitres (8.45 fluid ounces) cold water<br \/>\n252g (8.89 ounces) or 7 egg whites<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp cream of tartar<br \/>\n(and later 1 tsp water and gel food colour)<\/p>\n<p>Place your flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and gelatine into a bowl and stir with a whisk.<br \/>\nMake a well in the centre and add the yolks, oil and water, but do not mix.<br \/>\nIn a separate bowl whip the egg whites and cream of tartar to soft peaks.<br \/>\nBeat the flour mixture on low speed until just combined.<br \/>\nFold the egg whites into the flour mixture in 3 batches.<br \/>\nFill three cupcake cases and bake for 10-15 minutes at 180c.<\/p>\n<p>Crumbles those three cupcakes and add food colour of choice, 1 tablespoon of cake batter and 1 tsp water (or flavouring or juice of choice).
