Sometimes I see something in a bakery or an old cook book that makes me curious. \u00a0I jot down the idea and, over the next little while, start tinkering with ingredients. How could I inject some fun into it? Can I put a unique spin on an old favourite? And, importantly, can I be sure that it tastes as good as it looks?<\/p>\n<p>The idea for this chocolate book started a while ago when I was looking at a sheet of untempered chocolate. \u00a0As I looked at the chocolate the texture and colour reminded me of my leather journal. \u00a0I noted it down and started toying with the idea. \u00a0A few weeks later,\u00a0here it is &#8230; a\u00a0chocolate version of my recipe journal, filled with yummy treats and surprises.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>For the chocolate book cover<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>400g (14.11 ounces) milk chocolate, make sure that it is real chocolate, check the ingredients for cocoa butter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the pages<\/strong><br \/>\n300g (10.58 ounces) white compound chocolate, check the ingredients contain vegetable fat<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the fillings<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can choose from a range of filling recipes on this website, I used <a title=\"Dulce de Leche Recipe Thick Caramel\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/dulce-de-leche-recipe\/\">dulce de leche<\/a> and some <a title=\"Chocolate Truffles Recipe\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/chocolate-truffles-recipe\/\">flavoured ganache<\/a>. \u00a0 To make the White Chocolate Vanilla ganache make a simple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/chocolate-ganache\/\" title=\"Chocolate Ganache Recipe\">ganache <\/a>using white chocolate, cream and a teaspoon of vanilla essence.
