In response to the tsunami of requests for a Fault In Our Stars dessert I&#8217;ve made this TFIOS icecream cake with crushed chocolatey bits and swirls of rich ganache. There are two reasons I love icecream cakes &#8230; first, icecream &#8230; and second, because you can make it a long time ahead and store it in the freezer. This cake was delicious but be warned, it&#8217;s tough to stop at just one slice!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lhVpZWvqe5k?rel=0\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe container I used has a volume of 3.25L (0.86 gallons)<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fn\">The Fault In Our Stars Cake Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p>For the ganache:<br \/>\n130g (4.59 ounces) dark chocolate<br \/>\n150millilitres (5.07 fluid ounces) or 1\/2 cup plus 1 Tbsp and 2 tsp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/cream-use\/\" title=\"What cream should I use?\" target=\"_blank\">cream<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the ice cream cake:<br \/>\n4L (1.06 gallons) vanilla or other ice cream<br \/>\n6 chocolate bars of your choice. I used 2 Caramello, 2 Boost and 2 Mars bars<br \/>\n<span class=\"ingredient\"><span class=\"amount\">200g (7.05 ounces)<\/span> <span class=\"name\">milk chocolate<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For the blue coating:<br \/>\n600millilitres (20.29 fluid ounces) or 2 1\/3 cups plus 1 Tbsp <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/cream-use\/\" title=\"What cream should I use?\" target=\"_blank\">cream<\/a><br \/>\nblue liquid or gel colouring<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/search\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_sr_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;index=aps&amp;keywords=decorating%20comb&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;tag=howtocookthat-20&amp;linkId=OHXLB4UQTB5LYYBV\" target=\"_blank\">decorating comb<\/a> (optional)<\/p>\n<p>For the TFIOS Okay?
