A beautiful bright cake with a colourful surprise inside. You can swap the heart for any shape that you have a cutter for. Or you could make your own cutter using the instructions in the <a title=\"A Sweet Tweet Surprise Twitter Dessert\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/a-sweet-tweet-surprise-twitter-dessert\/\">twitter dessert video<\/a>. Right after I finished making this cake I cut my finger. I was using scissors to cut a plastic packaging strap, it came off all of a sudden, the scissors continued on their speedy journey and went through the very tip of my finger. Several hours later I was at the hospital because it was still bleeding, despite using pressure, elevation and all the normal things. Unable to stitch it the doctor predicted four weeks for it to heal over. \u00a0So if you see me sporting a bandage in next weeks video you&#8217;ll know why. Oh and don&#8217;t try and push scissors through thick plastic strapping.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jBoqh8M8ltU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"fn\">To make the rainbow tie-dyed surprise heart cake you will need:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Coloured Hearts<\/strong><br \/>\nMakes enough hearts for two cakes 22cm (8.66 inches) long each<br \/>\nheart or other shape cutter, mine was 7.5cm (2.95 inches) across and 7cm (2.76 inches) tall<br \/>\n3 packets vanilla cake mix<br \/>\n5 gel colours or you can use neon colours if you prefer<\/p>\n<p><strong>White Cake<\/strong><br \/>\n<span class=\"ingredient\"><span class=\"amount\">2<\/span> <span class=\"name\">packets vanilla cake mix<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>To Decorate<\/strong><br \/>\n500g (17.64 ounces) White fondant<br \/>\nFrosting (I used the frosting that was in the boxes of cake mix)<br \/>\ncolours as used for making the cake<\/p>\n<p>This cake was requested by subscribers after seeing a similar styled cake on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tablespoon.com\/recipes\/rainbow-tie-dye-surprise-cake\/15086094-ad54-4d4f-82b3-68bffd7a0c9a\" target=\"_blank\">tablespoon.com<\/a> which was designed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hungryhappenings.com\/2014\/05\/rainbow-tie-dye-surprise-cake.html\" target=\"_blank\">Hungry Happenings<\/a> and inspired by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.handmadecharlotte.com\/diy-colorful-peace-cake\/\" target=\"_blank\">HandmadeCharlotte.com<\/a>.
