But how do you make them extra special and different to what everyone got last year? Wash down the sides of the pan with a wet pastry brush to remove andy sugar crystals.  Boil own high heat unstirred until the mixture thickens, the bubbles slow and it just starts to go golden in one area of the pan.  Add the desired food coloring and stir lightly   then immediately pour out into a lined baking tray.  Caution this is extremely hot.
