When I returned they were gone!  It appears we have a mouse!  A very well fed mouse.  Imagine its delight at finding a mini sized kitchen with cute freshly prepared food. If only I was filming.  As cute as it sounds a mouse running free in my kitchen is not hygienic so I have had to set up some traps to deal with that issue.  Perhaps I should actually get a tiny pet and let it eat the finished food. <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"fn\"><strong>Donut Recipe<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Makes 14<br \/>\n<span class=\"ingredient\"><span class=\"amount\">4 cups<\/span> or 640g (22.58 ounces)\u00a0<span class=\"name\">flour, plain or all purpose<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n60g (2.12 ounces) or 1\/4 cup sugar<br \/>\n14g (0.49 ounces) or two sachets instant dried yeast<br \/>\n90g (3.17 ounces) or 1\/4 cup butter, melted<br \/>\n250ml or 1 cup (4% fat) milk, warmed<br \/>\n2 pinches of salt<br \/>\n1 tsp vanilla<br \/>\n2 eggs<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/miniature-eggs-worls-smallest-eggs-ann-reardon-550x309.jpg\" alt=\"miniature donuts recipe\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-79307\" data-wp-pid=\"79307\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/miniature-eggs-worls-smallest-eggs-ann-reardon-550x309.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/miniature-eggs-worls-smallest-eggs-ann-reardon-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/miniature-eggs-worls-smallest-eggs-ann-reardon-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/miniature-eggs-worls-smallest-eggs-ann-reardon-400x225.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/miniature-eggs-worls-smallest-eggs-ann-reardon.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Add all the wet ingredients in to the bowl followed by the dry ingredients. Knead the mixture until it becomes elastic.  You can use a stand mixer with a dough hook for about 5 minutes or a bread machine set to dough. Punch it down, roll out and cut donut shapes. Place onto non-stick baking paper baking paper and allow to rise a second time.<\/p>\n<p>Heat up the oil to 375F (190.56 degrees Celsius) and deep fry your donuts, flipping them over once the underside is golden brown.  Watch the full-sized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/crazy-oil-fire-donuts-recipe\/\">donut video<\/a> to see what happens if you overheat your oil.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chocolate Glaze Recipe:<\/strong><br \/>\n60g (2.12 ounces) or 1\/4 cup butter<br \/>\n3\/4 cup or 95g (3.35 ounces) icing sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 cup or 30g (1.06 ounces) cocoa powder<br \/>\n1 tsp glucose or corn syrup (optional, helps make the glaze shiny)<br \/>\napprox 1 Tbsp boiling water<\/p>\n<p>Place all ingredients into a bowl and heat for 20 seconds in the microwave, stir and heat for extra 10 second bursts if required.  Use immediately. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Vanilla Glaze Recipe<\/strong><br \/>\n1 cup or 125g (4.41 ounces) icing or powdered sugar<br \/>\n25 mL (0.85 fluid ounces) or 2 Tbsp of water<br \/>\n10 white marshmallows<br \/>\n1 tsp glucose or corn syrup (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Place all ingredients into a bowl and heat for 20 seconds in the microwave, stir and heat for an extra 10 seconds if required.
