Well, half of them are. The other half are delicious! The problem is that they look the same, so you have no idea which ones are about to assault your tastebuds. I talked to some other YouTubers into sharing the experience with me. However when I&#8217;m on the road, it&#8217;s not always possible to pull off a new sweet creation without having access to a kitchen. That&#8217;s why I decided to do something a bit different this week.<\/p>\n<p>One of the other issues YouTubers face everyday revolves around copyright. It seems the more popular my channel becomes the more copyright infringement forms I have to fill in. Facebook is the main culprit with people illegally downloading my videos from YouTube, removing all &#8216;How To Cook That&#8217; branding and then re-uploading it to their own Facebook pages as if it was their own video. No links, no credit, just theft. It happens so often to YouTubers that it&#8217;s been given a name &#8211; &#8220;Rebooting&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>YouTubers work really hard to create content and share it for free online, relying on advertisers to pay just a tiny fraction of a cent per view in order to earn a living. So you can understand how heartbreaking it would be to discover my &#8220;Piping Bag Hacks&#8221; video (which has been viewed approximately 500,000 times on my YouTube channel in the past few months) has also been ripped off and viewed a staggering 13 million times on Facebook (with all reference or links to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtocookthat.net\/public_html\/\" title=\"Welcome to How To Cook That\" target=\"_blank\">HowToCookThat<\/a> removed).<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately millions and millions of cooking fans have no idea that they are actually hurting their favourite chefs and creators when they watch a Rebooted video on Facebook. It&#8217;s a bit like popping one of the gross jelly beans in your mouth &#8230; it looks almost the same but then it actually leaves a nasty taste in your mouth.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s great to see famous YouTubers like Hank Green and Devon Supertramp weighing in on this major issue. I was even interviewed about it by Australia&#8217;s largest newspaper <a title=\"youtubers life\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dailytelegraph.com.au\/news\/youtubes-how-to-cook-that-star-ann-reardon-puts-the-heat-on-content-thieves\/story-fni0cx4q-1227465352639\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">daily telegraph<\/a>. If you like a video on YouTube make sure you do the right thing by the creator and share it the CORRECT WAY on Facebook. All you have to do is copy the youtube URL link of the video or just click the SHARE BUTTON under the video on YouTube. Sharing a video properly on your social media is a great way to support your favourite YouTubers and it&#8217;s completely different to stealing content.<\/p>\n<p>And by the way, if you stumble across one of my videos that has been stolen (press play and check if there is a youtube logo and link in the bottom right hand corner &#8211; if there isn&#8217;t, it&#8217;s stolen), make sure you leave a comment on the offending Facebook page, pointing people to the original <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/howtocookthat\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/youtube.com\/howtocookthat<\/a> .
