Debunking & is Facebook promoting angry divisive posts?

In this episode:

Did Facebook promote angry and divisive posts over happy ones?

Who is behind the weird Cake Story videos?

Magic tricks with eggs anyone?

Can you make an apple cake in ONE minute?

Can you roast marshmallows in a waffle maker?

Can you make caramel from sweetened condensed milk in the microwave?

And just a reminder – don’t poach eggs in the microwave.

I have been busy over the last year planning, writing and overseeing the photography and layout for my first ever cookbook! There are heaps of my favourite dessert recipes in there with a chapter on pastries, ice-cream, yummy cakes, artistic desserts and of course chocolate desserts. Each chapter has its own intro explaining the food science that you'll need to know for success every time. Booksellers where you can purchase your very own copy:

All recipe quantities in the book are in grams, ounces and cups.

Hey I was thinking you might want to apologize to Yummy Waffle, as you publicly “announced” that their video was likely fake, but it turns out not. As the most recent tutorial video from the channel shows marshmallow waffles are in fact possible, and the channel owner has expressed concern over being wrongfully branded as a fake channel compared to his efforts. I don’t know if you’ll see the comment but as a fan of both channels and believing you had no bad intentions, maybe you’d like to correct things asap.

    • Interesting Joseph. I didn’t recall Ann saying that the the video was fake or even “likely fake”, so I opened up the transcript on YouTube. That confirmed that she never used the word fake in describing that video; not once.. What she did say was: “I’ve come up with a much easier method for you to use.” A perfectly valid response, especially given that the original video that she was referring to was only a little over a minute long & had almost no detail as to how the end result was achieved. I’d challenge anyone who had only ever viewed that first video to be able to replicate the result.
