Chocolate Picasso Guitar Sculpture

Copying other artists works is a great way to study their style and learn new things. Picasso is obviously more well known for his paintings rather than his sculptures. However he was ahead of his time in his choice to make sculptures out of assembled objects rather than chiselling marble.

He made this guitar out of cardboard and then metal. If you want to recreate it out of cardboard or metal you will need to adjust my template below to cut the box support back, top and sides all out of one piece – and fold at the joins.

To make it out of chocolate you will need to temper the chocolate. See the chocolate secrets video for more details.

    Hi Ann,
Your book has arrived today and we (my cat and me) are delighted, see photo!
Your book has more to offer than I thought, since there are nearly 200 pages full of recipes (YES, my favourite sponge cake recipe!), useful explanations and new techniques. And – right on time for summer – ice cream recipes on top.
    Thanks!
P.S.: Is the link mentioned in the cookbook ready?

Hi Ann, I have just finished reading your book from cover to cover and I love it! I am not a chef but I have worked in a lot of kitchens from tiny cafes to resorts. I used to love to cook but not so much anymore but I love to bake and decorate cakes. Your book is fantastic and so easy to follow, the recipes are wonderful and the photography is stunning. Well done and thank you for writing such a beautiful book. I can’t wait to try all your recipes. I am also in Melbourne so I will try to get to your next round of book signings.
    Thanks, Marian
