  6. Dear Ann Reardon,
My name is Lina,nI live in Mississauga, Ontario Canada and I am 11 years old. You might be wondering that I am too young to have a stand mixer, but I have been dreaming of having one in my kitchen ever since I started baking, 6 years ago. Youtube channels like yours have always made me dream if one day I could be just like you, you are my biggest inspiration! When I watch your channel, How to cook that, every moment I am mesmerized by your skills. Every video I watch of yours I fell as if I am getting better and better at baking. You have given me important tips I use in my daily baking experiences. My dream is to make all these fantasy’s into reality. The career I have chosen is to be a baker. I know if I win this Breville Stand Mixer it will be another step forward to pursuing my dream career of being a baker. I impatiently wait for every new video to come on youtube every Friday. I have made most of the treats that you have recipes on, and personally my favourite one was when you made the fruit dessert with cream and a strawberry purée. Thank you so much for making me the baker I am today!

Thanks a lot :).

  8. Dear Ann
I am from Atlanta, Georgia (USA) and have just recently discovered all the fantastic cake decorating videos on you tube. I would love to win the Breville mixer because (1) I have never won anything and (2) the mixing paddle looks amazing. I have used my Kitchen Aid mixer for so long it is about to go to mixer heaven. I make a lot of wedding and special occasion cakes — most of my clients can’t afford to pay me full price so I usually charge just for the cost of ingredients. I don’t mind charging so little because I just love baking and decorating. I wish I had seen your Elsa cake video last January when I made an Elsa cake for my granddaughter. Thank you for your wonderful videos and making everything look so easy. I have learned so much from your videos.

  9. Hi Ann I’ve recently just discovered your site while doing a search on how to make a Hello Kitty cake and I’m spending too much time on it already! Pleasant surprise that your from Australia as me & my Aussie family now live in Canada after living in Melbourne & Perth.

I’d love to win one of those Breville Mixers simply because I love Breville products. Having lived in Oz we know of it’s quality and reliability. I’ve not seen their mixers before watching your video and I’m impressed by its features {that little timer is so handy!} We cannot live without our Breville coffee machine & juicer – so glad we could get them in North America!

  10. I live in the United States and would love to win the mixer. The mixing paddle that scrapes the bowl is one of my favorite features. I have a granddaughter who has developed a love for the culinary arts, what a great machine to further teach her on and pass down.

  11. Hello Ann,
My name is Carey and I live in Tempe, Arizona, USA. I was so thrilled to see that you are offering a Breville standup mixer. I have been in need of a larger standup mixer for years. My husband always complains that it takes me forever to make my cakes. I tell him it’s because we only have a four quart mixer bowl on our mixer. If I make large cakes (ie. two tiers or more) it takes me awhile to make the cake batters and frostings, because I can not double the recipes. I have had to turn down friends to make cakes for them because I knew it would take days to prepare. Having a larger standup mixer like the Breville you are offering would help me greatly with cutting down on time for my cake making, as has all of your videos. Thank you so much for all the great ideas and suggestions you provide for novice bakers like myself who love to bake.

  12. hi my name is Pamela and I live in Ohio love watching your videos and I would love to have one of the mixers because I love to bake for family and friends and have always made my grandchildren there birthday cakes each year also love spending time with my grandkids showing them how to bake and cook ,this would make baking and cooking so much easier. thanks for the chance of winning PAMELA

  13. Hi Ann. I live just north of Newcastle in Australia. I have been making Gingerbread
Houses every Christmas for the past 24 years. I mix them by hand. I couldn’t believe how much easier it would be with the Breville Stand Mixer. I have been inspired by your video to make some changes to the decorating I do. I have never owned a Stand Mixer but have always wanted one. I am sure that there are plenty of people in Australia who would love this mixer but I could certainly put it to good use. Thanks for the inspiration.

  14. Hi Ann,
I am from Perth Australia. I love watching your videos. I have become interested in chocolate and caking making recently. I have learned a lot of skills and techniques from your step by step videos. They are very helpful processes for a beginner! I would love to win the mixer and scale because I mix by hand, use a non digi scale to weight right now. it’d be great to have the Breville mixer and pro scale which will definitely improve my chocolate and caking making efficiency!
Thank you so much for offering this opportunity to us who love watching your videos

  15. Hi Ann,

I’m about to make your Elsa cake in a few weeks & I’m really excited. I can’t wait to try the sugar veil. I would love a Breville mixer! It would help me make more fabulous cakes for my girls & my family.
Thank you for the opportunity to enter such a great competition. All the best to you & happy baking.
    Cheers,
    Marketa 🙂

Sorry, I forgot to say that I’m in Sydney, Australia.

  17. Hello Ann,
I am in Santa Cruz, California, in The United States of America!
First of all, I would like to give you a big Thank You.
All of your videos are so helpful.
You explain things in a no nonsense way that gives me confidence to do what I thought I could never do.
You don’t use a lot of fancy molds or gadgets that are expensive and only good for that one thing.
You make cake design, desserts, and chocolate accessible.
I love those Breville products you were using.
I have a Breville juicer that is fantastic.
I didn’t know Breville made a stand mixer.
    That scraper blade is genius!
I would like to win a Breville stand mixer with the scraper blade so my cakes, cookies and desserts come out just as good as yours do!
Well, at least it would give me a fighting chance :]
    Please keep the videos coming.

    Sugar hugs and chocolate kisses,
    Patti

  18. From Canberra, Australia!
I would love a Breville stand mixer because I beat/whip/mix by hand, but I am right handed so my right biceps are exceptionally toned – whereas my left are still jiggly! Hahahah, really a Breville would be greatly appreciated, the scales too. Love your videos Ann, so cute and a wonderful inspiration to other Australian bakers.
    Love Sophie.
