Debunking: Pine Needle Soda, Flat Cookies

Cookie recipe used in the tests:
175g (6.17 ounces) (1 cup) brown sugar
165g (5.82 ounces) (165g (5.82 ounces)) white sugar
150g (5.29 ounces) butter
1 teaspoon vanilla paste
1 egg
225g (7.94 ounces) (1 1/2 cups) plain flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
400g (14.11 ounces) chocolate chips (normally for cookies I’d use chopped chocolate but considering how many batches I had to make today I went with chocolate chips).

Preheat the oven to 160C (320 degrees Fahrenheit)
Place the sugars, butter and vanilla in a bowl and beat until pale and creamy. Add the egg and mix well to combine. Add the flour, salt and baking powder dry and mix until just combined. Lastly add the chocolate chips.

   Hi Anne! What’s the bake time for the cookies? I put mine in for 10 minutes, then 5 minutes and some were still somewhat undercooked? My oven is not very reliable though, so the temperature might have been a bit off. Thank you! Very delicious!
