I love the look of the mini hamburger cakes…is there a way of printing it so I can follow the recipe in my kitchen. It won’t cut and paste 🙁
Thank you for this great recipe.
Just a note to adjust the oil to 75g and not 150g as per your recipe.
Thank you
Thanks cakes with love.
I came across a couple of your videos on youtube love your ideas looking forward to more and can’t wait to try the hamburger cakes. Any ideas if I want to have tomato ketchup instead of brown sauce?
Foe this recipe how many burgers would you say this would make? I have a large friends camping trip coming up this summer and I think this would be perfect to make for a sweet treat 🙂
Hi Kimber, This recipe makes 5 mini hamburgers. When you make them, do post a photo!

Hi Donna. These look amazing. Well done!
Thought I followed the recipe perfectly, but obviously not…..my “lettuce” is runny….how can I thicken it??
Hi Donna, You could try putting the mixture in the fridge to see if it will firm up. If not I would start again. Hope you get it sorted.
love you videos
Thanks person.
I love your idea of the burger cake
Ann I love your ideas, and can’t wait to give this a go for my friends birthday. A question though, is it plain flour or self raising flour that should be used? Thanks!
You would use All-Purpose Flour
Hi Ann,
This is a bit of a special and immediate request:
My father’s birthday is coming soon, So I want to prank him with a cake full of creme and push his face into the cake! what is the best way to do the cake for the prank
Hi Ann
Thank you so much for putting together such a wonderful website. All the cakes you make are amazing! So inspiring that I thought to share my first attempt of the mini hamburgers with a few variations.
Since then, I have been wondering if it were possible to make Hot dogs and if so, could you share your thoughts on how?
Again, Thank you and I look forward to watching more of your amazing videos!
Margau they look great! well done

I love your videos…this is the first one I have tried…so easy…thank you so much
oh wow, well done Trish!
What kind of cream?!
any cream as long as its 35% fat cream
Hi Ann,
This time again you surprised us! love this recipe.
Ann I wanted you how can I store fondant, gel food colors and pipping gel. Can I keep them im fridge (all of them) or they will stay fresh in room temperature (in UAE kitchen’s temperature remains high).
Many thanks
GET WELL SOON DEAR! 🙂
Hi Sidra,
You can keep all of it at room temp. Fondant needs to be double wrapped in plastic and put in an airtight container to stop it drying out.
Dear Ann,
Thank you soooo much for sharing this hamburger cake recipe which I have been searched for long 🙂
Actually I would like to make this cake for my hubby’s birthday next week. And would like to make a bigger one. I have no baking experience, so for the muffin rolls , do you recommend me to bake it longer instead of 5min only ? how could I know the middle is ready ?
thank you !
Stephanie
Stephanie, you could also just use 2 packet cake mixes, use a glass bowl, and a cake pan and make the rolls for the middle cake thing and just double the ingredients or to how much you need. 🙂
😀 great idea Abbziebabzie
