Kitchen Tour, Macaron Pops & Comments
So many of you asked for it so I finally filmed a kitchen tour. Welcome to my home, this is where I film and edit all of my creations. I’ll also show you how to make macaron pops and read through some of the comments, good and bad, thanks for all the lovely ones.
For those of you who are regular viewers you’ll know that I made the castle cake a while ago, this is a new one of the same cake made for a TV film shoot. If you’re in Australia then it will be on ‘The Living Room’ some time in the next few weeks.
To answer the many questions about my videos… the equipment that I currently use is:
For filming: This Canon Professional Camcorder and a rode microphone.
For editing: Adobe Premiere on my iMac

Hi Ann,
I’ve wanted to tell you this for a while, and I think this video is the perfect opportunity. A few months back, I was in a really bad place. Depression and panic attacks completely overtook my life. I barely moved from bed, cried all the time, and basically stopped eating. During that time, I found your tutorials gave me a welcome moment of relief. Depression’s a funny beast like that — sometimes the littlest thing makes a big difference. I’ve always loved to bake as well, but I stopped when things got bad. But when I watched your tutos, taking five minutes here and there watching you create beautiful food with care and precision made me smile. I reckon I’ve seen nearly all your videos by now, and made quite a few myself! 🙂 I’m happy to say things have gotten much better for me in recent months. Life is lookin’ up! 🙂 HowToCookThat will always hold a special place in my heart. Always looking forward to Fridays.
Big hugs from my heart to yours.
I am glad that ur ok
