Top 10 Best Nutella Recipes

10 best nutella recipes

Most of these easy Nutella recipes have only two or three ingredients. With ‘World Nutella Day’ coming up soon I thought I’d have some fun baking, whipping and experimenting with Nutella and its many uses. I don’t advise that you make all ten in one day or you’ll find it hard not to over-indulge. I confess, I may have eaten a few too many of these Nutella treats, they were just too hard to resist.

1/2 tsp salt
2 3/4 cups or 450g (15.87 ounces) flour
3 tsp yeast
Place all of the ingredients in a bread maker on a ‘dough’ setting.
Or if making by hand mix the ingredients together and kneed until elastic.
Leave in a covered bowl in a warm place until it doubles in volume.

To assemble you will need approximately 3 tablespoons or 50g (1.76 ounces) of Nutella.
Bake at around 180C (356 degrees Fahrenheit). When it is cooked through, the bread will sound hollow when tapped on the base.

  3. Can you specify what kind of cream you are using whenever you use it in a recipe. Half n half, whipping..etc. Thank You!

    • I just found the entire page dedicated to cream (blushes) Sorry and thank you!

      • Thanks for checking it out Audrey. Hope it helps!

    • Hi Audrey, Unfortunately we can’t use those labels as they refer to different products in different countries. Ann provides a great link to a page that explains how to choose the right cream and always uses what is a standard product in Australia which is called pure cream with 35%fat content. If anything else is used she will specify the fat content, so yo can find a local equivalent. You can find the page here: https://www.howtocookthat.net/public_html/cream-use/

  6. Hi Ann,
I don’t have Nutella, can I substitute peanut butter?

    • I’m not Ann but I don’t see why not

    • Hi Jonathan, Ann hasn’t experimented with that but given they have different consistency and there is no peanut butter in Nutella, it is not likely to have a similar result. Have fun experimenting though.

  7. Hey Ann I wonder at what tempeture the oven needs to be? Also for how many minutes the nutella star recipe needs to cook?

    • Hi Amelie, If you are making the bread your oven should be about 180c. For pastry have your oven slightly warmer. The time will vary but you can tell if the bread is cooked by tapping it on the base – It should sound hollow. The pastry loses the soft look when cooked, obviously it firms and becomes more white.

Hi Ann my name is Tori I am 14 years old. My friend and I love Nutella we were wondering if we could make it. I saw some videos on how to but never any I knew I could really trust on line. But I want to do one without chocolate and cream. I would love if you can do a video on how to make Nutella.

  14. Hey Ann,
I have a question, is it possible to half the brownie resipe?
    Thanks,Anna

    • I’m not Ann, but you could use a half cup of Nutella and two eggs and that would be half of the recipe. But I don’t know where you would find such a small pan to cook it in… Also because it’s so small it will bake fast so check on it every 3-5 min to make sure it isn’t over cooked. To check if it’s done, poke a toothpick or knife in the middle and down to pan and if it comes out clean, it’s done. Good luck!
